Advanced Open Water Course

Through the PADI Advanced open Water Course, you will build upon the knowledge and skills you previously learned during your open water course, and get more experience into what diving has to offer. You will practice your navigation skills, get more comfortable with your buoyancy, as well as learn how to safely dive up to 30meter deep. This is a really fun course, focused on dive experience and discovery.

Inclusions

The Advanced Open water diver course is composed of theory session, followed by open water sessions in 5 different environments. Following PADI's standards, the course includes: 

  • 6 theory modules

  • 5 knowledge reviews

  • 5 open-water dives including

    • Peak performance buoyancy dive

    • Navigation dive

    • Deep dive​​

    • Fish identification

    • Night dive OR Naturalist

Pre-requirements

  • Open water diver certification

  • Ability to swim comfortably (without swimming aid)

  • and Previous experience with a mask, snorkel and fins are required*.

Why these requirements?

Even though you will be underwater most of the time, for safety purpose and for surface swims it is essential to know how to swim comfortably.

Timelines

An Advanced open water diver course takes a minimum of 3 days but at CRCP we like to make sure that you are trained properly, taking your time and adapting to your level. Our training will take 1 week, from Monday to friday (wednesday will be dry focused on theory review + conservation lectures), and include a spice of marine conservation awareness via lectures and workshops. 

Course participation fee

The standard fee for this course is 34,500 PHP and includes all theory, confined and open water dives, marine and PADI fees and dive equipment. It also includes shared accomodation, vegetarian lunch and snacks. ​​​
